Rooted in Faith

Many homeowners struggle to know whether a landscape company is designing for long-term success or simply installing plants that look good on the day they are planted. They often don't know what plants will truly thrive in their specific soil, sunlight, drainage, and climate conditions.

At The Good Soil, our approach is rooted in horticultural science and plant health. We focus on understanding site conditions, soil quality, plant selection, nutrition, and long-term maintenance requirements before making recommendations. Rather than creating landscapes that require constant replacement or intensive upkeep, we strive to design sustainable, durable, and thriving gardens that are well-suited to Florida's unique growing conditions.

During the initial consultation, we focus on understanding the client's goals, assessing the site, and explaining our recommendations in a practical and easy-to-understand way. If a project requires deeper analysis, such as soil testing, plant diagnostics, nutrient deficiencies, pest issues, or site-specific challenges, I provide more detailed explanations and education as needed.

Our goal is to help clients understand not only what to plant, but why those plants will succeed in their landscape for years to come.

We believe that every garden is a reflection of the stewardship we hold over the earth. Our mission is to help homeowners cultivate landscapes that flourish for years to come.
